SEGA-M SIMOPRIME A4 24kV AIS Switchgear — Metal-Clad Withdrawable up to 25 kA
The SEGA-M SIMOPRIME A4 is a type-tested metal-clad, withdrawable air-insulated switchgear (AIS) rated up to 24 kV, manufactured under the Siemens SIMOPRIME Technology Partner agreement. Featuring a withdrawable vacuum circuit-breaker truck type 3AH, compact 800 mm single-panel width, and fully mechanically interlocked compartments, it delivers 25 kA short-time withstand and 2,500A normal busbar current. All switching operations are performed behind the closed HV door. No SF6 gas, no heat-shrink insulation — long-term reliability without ageing risk. Compliant with IEC 62271-200 with internal arc classification. Manufactured at SEGA-M’s 30,000m² facility in Egypt.

Metal-clad steel enclosure with individually tested epoxy resin-moulded bushings. Fully mechanical interlocks prevent incorrect switching sequences. Individually operated earthed metallic shutters on each compartment. LV compartment with 700 mm height gear plate. Cable compartment with earth bar and bushings — cable fault-making earth switch option (25 kA/1s). Gland plates available in steel, aluminium, stainless steel, or brass. No heat-shrink insulation — long-term reliability without aging risk.
