SEGA-M SIMOPRIME 12kV Medium Voltage Switchgear — Type Tested up to 40 kA

The SEGA-M SIMOPRIME 12kV is a factory-assembled, type-tested metal-clad medium voltage switchgear system rated up to 12 kV, manufactured under the Siemens SIMOPRIME Technology Partner agreement. Featuring withdrawable vacuum circuit-breakers, 40 kA internal arc resistance for 1 second, and LSC2B service continuity, it allows maintenance on adjacent panels while the installation stays energised. Rated busbar current up to 3,600A. Available in circuit-breaker, contactor, disconnecting, metering, bus-sectionaliser, and bus-riser configurations. Fully compliant with IEC 62271-200 and VDE 0671-200. No SF6 gas — maintenance-free vacuum technology. Manufactured at SEGA-M’s 30,000m² facility in Egypt.

    Metal-clad steel enclosure with individually tested epoxy resin-moulded bushings and insulators. Metallic earthed shutters between compartments (LSC2B). No heat-shrink insulation — maintaining full insulation integrity over lifetime. Withdrawable circuit-breaker truck with individual truck operation. Pressure relief duct in roof panel. LV compartment with 700mm gear plate as standard. Busbar compartment accommodates 800A to 2,500A copper busbars and droppers.
